6 – 11 Years

Bilingual Middle School In Milan
For children from 11 to 13 years old, MILE offers a specific academic program: the Lower Secondary School is the private middle school recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) and with an English language teaching program certified by Cambridge.
In this three-years study cycle, traditional subjects taught in Italian and English are paired with team-working and leadership skills, as well as further activities for a more complete education, such as:
- laboratories for specific subjects (science, robotics, ICT, as examples)
- sport activities
- music study
- environmental care (focused on social responsibility)
Our students benefit from international learning opportunities programs (ILOS), provided by International School Partnership group (ISP).
20 years of passion for education
This year, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our school. Founded in 2003, by Principal Adriana Sorbellini, MILE opened with just a small nursery and eight pupils. Over the past two decades, the school has grown year after year, thanks to our experienced teaching team helping students to achieve consistently excellent academic results and a high level of bilingualism.
